How long have you worked as a butcher?
I’ve been a butcher for just over 5 years.
What’s the best part of being a butcher?
I really enjoy expanding my knife skills and trying out different butchery techniques.
What’s your favourite cut of meat & why?
My favourite cut has to be skirt steak, an underrated steak but so tender! Take the skirt steak and marinade it in soy sauce, honey, garlic and sesame oil. Pan fry that bad boy then finish it off in the oven. Try it, I dare you!
Outside of butchery, what else do you enjoy?
When I’m not butchering, I like to do a spot of shooting when I get a chance!
